Cristo Rey Columbus High School (“CRC”) is a Catholic, college-preparatory high school with a Professional Work-Study Program empowering students of all faiths, in need of an affordable, high-quality education, to excel in college, in career, and in character. Established in 2013, Cristo Rey Columbus has grown to a student body of over 430 students for the 2022-23 school year.

Cristo Rey offers a unique and proven educational option to its students. All students at Cristo Rey participate in their Professional Work-Study Program where they work in jobs during the school day at places like Mount Carmel Health, Nationwide Insurance, COSI, and more! Students earn valuable professional experience as well as money that goes towards covering the cost of attending Cristo Rey. Cristo Rey Columbus boasts a 100% college acceptance rate for our graduates. Cristo Rey’s one-of-a-kind Professional Work-Study Program along with rigorous academic curriculum, including AP, honors, and College Credit Plus class options, and variety of sports and extra-curriculars make Cristo Rey students desirable candidates for colleges and universities.

Our mission at Cristo Rey Columbus High School is to make a Catholic high school education affordable for all families. All students are guaranteed all the financial aid they need to attend. Families pay between $200 and $3,000 per year for a Catholic high school education. Ohio’s scholarship programs align perfectly with our mission to be affordable for families. The EdChoice Scholarships students are able to utilize are key in helping us to meet that mission.
