School Choice Ohio proudly highlights Ohio’s excellent educational options…This week we shine our spotlight on Christian Academy Schools in Sidney, Ohio.
Founded in 1978, Christian Academy serves 157 students in grades K-12 at their non-denominational campus in Sidney, Ohio. CAS earned accreditation from both ACSI and AdvancEd. Christian Academy Schools want to help families build a child up and lead them to become compassionate, responsible, and productive adults living fully in God’s will and God’s best.
Christian Academy Schools provide a variety of unique opportunities for a smaller school. Recently, our 7th-12th grade students traveled to see The Ark in Kentucky and attend a college fair. That is an example of something we are able to do as a smaller school.Kristina Baughman, Director of Academics/Marketing
CAS students and their families have resources available to them to assist with the cost of tuition, such as tuition assistance, Ohio’s EdChoice and Jon Peterson scholarship programs. These financial resources allow ALL students to attend Christian Academy Schools where their mission is to Equip and inspire students to be a new generation of Christ-centered leaders.
The financial resources available to families are critically important in order to access the true choice in education that parents and students need.
We have a family that had three students who attended. The father was laid off due to company issues and was struggling to keep the kids at our school. When the Ed Choice expansion included all grades, the family qualified and they were accepted. This allowed all the students to be able to stay and finish their schooling at CAS. It’s great to see these programs help families who are in need.
