Heads-on, Hands-on, Hearts-on Learning!

The mission of the Elementary department of Rewired is to provide academic excellent instruction using a model that employs critical thinking, engagement with hands-on learning, addressing students’ emotional needs, and encouraging a love of learning.

We offer Primary classes for Grades Kindergarten through grade three and Intermediate classes for grades four through six.  All academics are taught in small groups, based on students’ academic needs.

We are all about EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING!  This has included field trips to the Library, Farm at Walnut Creek, hiking and creek exploration, The Works, apple picking, Ohio Historical Society, Dawes Arboretum, Van Buren Acres, numerous park visits, and an occasional trip to the trampoline park!  Other experiences have included STEM challenges such as building lean-tos, Native American teepees, turkey traps, New Year’s noise makers, prairie dog cages, and many others!
