School Choice Ohio
School Choice Ohio is a nonprofit organization that believes wholeheartedly in providing parents with a choice in their children’s education. We work to make sure parents know about all their options and advocate for them to have as many quality options as possible.
Our work includes community outreach, grassroots organizing, working with legislators, communicating with families, and highlighting school choice issues through news outlets, events, and social media.
We want every single student in the state of Ohio to be able to attend the school of their choice, be it public or private. And we want YOU to help us get there. Our 5 intern positions are:
- Communications & social media
- Policy & advocacy
- Community outreach
- Data & research
- Special needs outreach
No making coffee here. You will have important work to do and you’ll be counted on as a vital junior member of our team. You will be working with us to promote the school choice message, advocate for policy changes, and help share information with Ohio parents about their options.
Nuts & Bolts
Interns typically work 2-3 days per week for 3-9 months. Hours are flexible. We offer a small stipend. The School Choice Ohio office is located downtown Columbus near the number 2 and 7 bus lines. You’ll get to work in an awesome location downtown doing really important work.
