Welcome to the School Choice Ohio Blog. This is our organization’s very first blog entry which will probably be both good news and bad news for readers.
Trying to be optimistic, I’ll start with the good news. You are officially an early adopter and don’t have to wonder what you have missed. Catch up is not required, so feel free to read, enjoy, comment, share with friends, etc.
Now for the bad news, I feel the need to briefly bore you with why School Choice Ohio (SCO) started a blog and what we hope to achieve.
Our goals are simple and rather straightforward. We hope to:
- Provide commentary on Ohio current events with an emphasis on how they affect the ability of Ohio parents to gain access to high quality educational options for their children
- Bring attention to important school choice issues that are being ignored by traditional media
- Act as a broader forum for discussion of current events in Ohio’s school choice movement
Over the next few days we will update you on the state of choice in the state of Ohio. Watch this space!
