The mission of School Choice Ohio (SCO) is to protect and expand children’s educational options through ensuring choice in quality schools and other places of learning, thereby supporting systemic reform of K-12 education across the state. The founders of School Choice Ohio believe that all parents should have the opportunity to choose which school is best for their children, regardless of their level of income.

 

School Choice Ohio is a nonprofit organization that provides outreach to Ohio’s parents and children, as well as to their legislative and community leaders, and encourages them to engage in the discussion about school choice, as well as dialogue about school improvement initiatives.

 

We seek to build on the school choice momentum in the state by focusing on four guiding themes: opportunity, education, outreach, and advocacy.
